Katie is specifically trained from a systems perspective, meaning she explores the relationships and experiences that lead individuals to where they are currently at. As human beings, the ways we feel, the choices we make, and the ways we behave are usually not isolated events outside of a relational realm. “In my experience, if we can enhance the family system, then the child will feel more safe, secure, and empowered, and behavioral problems will naturally decrease. As adults, if we can better understand and empathize with our family-of-origin dynamics, we can better process through our current problems with ourselves, our current relationships, or our view on life”. -Katie Spillar
“My goal is to help people get “unstuck,” whether in childhood or adulthood, so that they can live to their full potential, as all human beings deserve to do”. -Katie Spillar
